Phone thief stole handsets worth thousands in ten-day crime spree near Stamford Bridge – Crime – News – London Evening Standard.

i was watching the video showing him prowling round the area with his bike, looking for victims. and i was thinking this is a great advert for the apple watch. haha.

i remember seeing a video of a guy who just walked behind this chap who have his apple iphone in his hands. he tapped him on the other shoulder , and when the guy looked away and back, he just casually walked by on the other side and snatched the phone from his hands. the victim was left looking wildly around with an empty hand still hanging in the air. haha.

there was a review of the iwatch from this other guy who said one of the things he could do with it was to read his messages etc, without taking out his iphone , and he said that is a good function if ever u are in a dodgy area. some commenters mocked him saying yah right, the thief wont guessed u have a iphone somewhere and mugged u for it… and the watch.

but they did not reckon on this hit and run opportunist thief just taking the iphone from your hands while u are using it. haha. the iwatch will be very useful there.

a lot of theft is opportunistic.

the apple watch will stop that happening.

though nothing to stop some guy from mugging u for the watch itself and while they are at it, your iphone as well. haha. esp if u are wearing the top range. just like someone mugging a person for wearing a rolex. though with a rolex there is the problem for the mugger that it might be fake, not an apple watch though. haha.

the first world problems are manifold and numerous. haha.

a link talking of apple picking… the art of stealing iphones from you whilst u are using it.
