yes, i did. u will like it if u like tractors. i get the daily mail free that is why i get these. but apart from the fun in assembling them, afterwards there is not much u can do with them. so as toys i dont think they are that playable. good to look at and appeal to collectors i think

I used to collect so many small cars, trucks and tractors until I out grew them and they remain in boxes in storage now. Haha.. I read from the newspapers that the Spore government is going to giveaway free 200+ Lego pieces/box to celebrate SG50 to school students until tertiary level. No idea if my girl will get one or not. She is in jc now. Have been looking for it.

lego is fun for kids, really. the spore govt should give the lego to the primary kids. 200 sets wont go far. a lot of kids will be disappointed. giving them the blocks would be better than these intricate assembly pieces. the blocks can be reused to build lotsof different models.

oh, that is more like it. haha. if they limit it to primary students … it might be better. secondary students really wont benefit from it. i would say below 12yrs old. the giveaway toys i have been collecting says it is for 6-12yr olds.

Oh, forgot to mention the Lego pieces will include Spore iconic places. It is one of the kind and should be a collection items.

i googled it and got this

it might be fun to assemble them but once built they are only good to look at. might be better to give them the blocks … ah well, it is a publicity for singapore i suppose. i found someone had offered it for sale for $100. the first few to offer it for sale will win, but later more will be produced for sale by the company and it will lose its rarity value. great advertising for lego.
