These are Europe’s most useful second and third languages.

it confirms for me my impression that english really is the only one worth learning if it is not your first language.

i think because it has no feminine and masculine versions. french , spanish,  i think mandarin too, for all i know;( i know the chinese dialects are spoken differently if it is a male or female saying it. ) are all changed , not only the word, which has an arbitrary female or male attribute; but the whole sentence too , even to the extent of whether it is a male or female speaking it.

that is real difficult to learn and because the same sentence sound different when spoken by a male or a female, it is damn hard to recognise it. and then they join the words together and make it sound entirely different than when pronounced separately.

so basically, just learn english, it will pay u back a thousand fold.
