crowded london

25 Jul

london 3.07pm saturday 2015 sunny 19C

it was the eid celebration in trafalgar square today. so many people in central london and not just at the square but everywhere from parliament square up to and beyond trafalgar square. i am glad i dont live in that area.

today is dry and sunny so unlike yesterday when it rained all day and night. the eating stalls were extremely busy. there were not that many stalls, so its possible some have cancelled when they see the weather yesterday and think it will be the same today. if it had rained, like yesterday it would definitely be quieter. those stalls that decide to carry on now reap the rewards as queues were very long.

Amazing photos! I like old buildings very much. BTW, it rained heavily in SZ yesterday too.

There is no rain season in SZ, the rain here is very irregular. It rained a lot recently because there is a typhoon near here. I don’t shoot photos in SZ a lot, you know, when you live at somewhere, you are too familiar with everything, you don’t know what to shoot, haha. But I’ve taken some photos when I traveled to other cities of China, maybe you can have a look. Please ignore the Chinese words and focus on the photos haha.
        Here’s some photos of Xiamen.

hi kevin, thanks for the links. china has a mix of real modern high rise and old buildings. but what do ordinary people houses look like?

In big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, most people live in high rise buildings. In small cities people live in buildings no higher than 6 floors. Most of them look like apartment buildings. In the countries side, people lives in low rise buildings – only 1 or 2 floors.
