Bangkok bomb was worst ever attack on Thailand, says PM – BBC News

Bangkok bomb was worst ever attack on Thailand, says PM – BBC News.

this is a new development, a bomb in bangkok in a shrine on a busy intersection.

we in europe have been living with such a threat and have experienced it for many years and have always been alert to unattended packages.

in fact i myself have always kept an eye out for people in the library leaving their belongings behind and calling out to them if they leave without it. not because i am helpful, but because i dont want them leaving behind a package that will cause us all to have to evacuate the area for a suspected bomb. i hate to have my stay ruined by that.

my soul dont want it. and i figured if there are potential terrorists trying it on, on a practise run,  to see if they can place a package unnoticed in a library, i hope to convince them they cannot because of us busy bodies and eagle eyed  in there who will tell them off (in a irritated way too, i do , i tell them in a abrupt tone of voice because i really am irritated by such people) not to leave their package unattended and hope they wont do it for real.

i think, i hope,  there are a lot of us irritated people in the library who look at people who leave their belongings unattended with great irritation. well, i certainly hope so, or hope every one cultivates this mindstate. sometimes i get so irritated with them, i feel the urge to steal it to teach them a bloody lesson not to leave their things unattended.

it seems thailand will now have to be suspicious of all unattended and strange looking objects now and to investigate any bundle lying about. they should  be so irritated by it as to stop those doing it and scolding them if necessary.

in fact i would go further and view everyone who leaves things behind as suspects. because in asia no one leaves their baggage unattended, it can get stolen. here in uk, there are few opportunist thieves around. pickpockets yes, but not thieves who steal your unattended baggage,(they will steal your mobile phone though) that is why people here are so blase about leaving their things unattended. but in asia no one leaves their things unattended intentionally, so if there is any, assume the worst.

once i found a plastic bag on top of the radiator (and it was on so it was hot) in the library containing a sheep’s head, cut up into pieces. i know it has nothing to do with a bomb, but i thought i shall just put it here for what it is worth;

i was so surprised , and so was the library staff when i handed it in. fortunately i found it before it began to stink. haha. i am usually the first to come to the library, and so notice any package lying around and i am busy body enough to look into it.

there are a lot of eastern european travellers hanging about in the reading room charging their mobiles, waiting for their bus as the coach stop for europe is nearby; and i think someone going home with a sheep’s head have forgotten it.

      yes, there was even the jaw there with teeth. weird, isn’t it? but i think they are a bit like the chinese, they know how to cook these things and make them delicious.

      i wonder who is behind it, so far no group have admitted to it, nor why.

        I suppose in time the culprit will surface on ownership.
