its the 3rd day since i got this infection in my left foot. i have got the antibiotic now so hope it will do its work. the swelling did not get worse overnight, and i have not got a fever, which is a good thing as it shows it has not spread. so here is hoping it will go away.

i returned the gout medicine, but was told it will all be thrown away. what a waste isn’t it?i wonder whether there are any dumpster divers who will be able to find it and make use of it. i just remembered i should have asked back the pain medicine.

ah well, such is life these modern conveniences we take for granted, just throwing away medicines, when all over the world in some countries they are just crying out for them. i wonder why these medicines cannot be recycled for them.

well i am glad i dont have gout after all.

I suppose recycled meds no good as too easy for contamination and decay from age and moisture too. Had gout several times . Excuse the analogy – “it’s no walk in the park”.

yes, i can understand their reluctance to use it, for fear of sabotage too. its still a waste though. is there no way to prevent gout? having gone through an infected foot and how much it restricts movement and mobility, i can well sympathise with those who got gout.
