cheapest fare to london-singapore by norwegian airways (£179 one way)

22 Apr

london 6.43am 8C sunny saturday 2017

read this article saying norwegian airways are selling one way fares to singapore from gatwick, direct flights for £179 one way. and when i get into their website it really is true. it is valid for bookings  20april to 26 april. and flights are  from sept 2017 to march 2018. so for £360 rtn u can fly to singapore from london (or vice versa, i think) . must be the cheapest fare i have seen ever. still does not tempt me haha. but then i am immune to travelling abroad. i seem to have just lost all interest in travelling for the sake of travelling. but i know a lot will be interested in this. so go for it.

added. my friend wrote me that he was fined £100 and had 3 penalty points when he was caught over the speed limit by 7mph. 12points means disqualification. today i read this article about new fines imposed ,

Under new rules laid out by the Sentencing Council, magistrates have the power to fine motorists by up to 150 per cent of their weekly take-home income. The current limit is 100 per cent.

makes me think it is not worth having a car. but i guess my friend thinks he needs one. this trip he is making with a friend is a 120mile journey to attend a naked sauna event in manchester. i wont bother , but then most people are not me. or rather, i live in london where naked saunas are a dime a dozen.haha.(or feels like it). he lives in bournemouth.

this sight is just in bloom now in our communal garden. its really lovely that they plant different things every year. dark tulips are not the most obvious choice for spring plantings. its a nice change.

i think it is a promotion fare, just to drum up publicity. and once the quota is gone it will be gone. it should also be valid for singaporeans to come to london i suspect though it is over the winter months in london, and so i think this one is geared to attract europeans. but it is a year away… i wonder how many plan their trips so long ahead.
