the strange death of europe, by douglas murray

london 2.23pm 10.7C sunny tuesday 2017

i read it in one sitting last night, its a real eye opener to the problems that beset europe now. he tells how europe has got itself into this situation now ,,, which is a huge invasion of islamic refugees whose religion makes them never able to integrate and take on european values, rule of law, equal rights to women and gays, and minorities, and that the future will just mean a lot more of them, when their children grow up, and they make up a larger proportion of the population. they will start to influence the politics and vote in people who will ride their agenda. it is an invasion by islam of europe that has been defeated in the middle ages, but now is well on the way to succeed.

many of his critics will still want to deny it will happen. and may well criticise him for saying it. they want to kill the messenger rather than hear the message. even me can see he is right.

if u have often wondered why europe has been so puzzling in its liberal helping of the terrorists who kill their citizens. only reacting when they start to kill, rather than stop them before hand, this book might come some way to explain why .

though now it has happened, i cannot see how europe can escape… i think he is right that it will be the death of europe… in the sense it is the death of european culture. it is inevitable that the population will be majority muslim in the future.

How strange as my mother says the same ie the world will be muslim in the future. In lil red dot most restaurants are halal or serve no pork no lard at buffets!

i noticed that happening here in london too. it is the default mode, halal, as most people dont take offense at it as the animal is first stunned and then killed in the halal way…and restaurants want to appeal to everyone.
even the supermarkets also are now stocking halal foods, esp chicken. there is halal minced beef also. the mince appears pale instead of red in the normal non halal.
as for no pork, only the airline food does that, for now; but i hope it wont spread to the restaurants here, but who knows really. they could easily take pork off the menu and most of us wont notice.

I eat pork as it seems pork is a healthier meat than chicken it seems. Chicken has a huge amount of hormones and antibiotics injected or fed. I avoid chicken unless free range or kampong chicken…

oh, its news to me that chicken has lots of hormones and antibiotics… you sure? i would have thought singapore would make sure it is not. knowing the govt, they would make sure it conforms to world standards. so it might be fake news. i have always thought chicken is healthier than pork, not so fatty. they tell me not to eat the skin, but i love the skin. haha. it is one of the best bit, amongst so much other best bits… in roast chicken.
and i love pork… hmm, actually i cannot say between the two, which i like best…i just like eating…haha.

Yes, since the outbreak of Chicken Flu and cancer studies done by Singapore General Hospital, they studied that nasal cancer patients when fed with Chicken, their polyps grew larger and shrank when chicken was abstained from their diet. It was traced down to fattening hormones and other bad hormones. People who suffer from sinusitis would also do better when abstaining from Chicken in their diet!

oh, i remember when i was young, growing up in malaysia they tell us not to eat the neck, because that is where they inject the hormones…i think it might be an old wives tale… now i just dont care, i eat it all. haha.

I haven’t yet read this book, but I read the opinion a while ago that Islam won’t take over Europe. The two weapons of Islam are jihad and outbreeding the locals. To combat the former, the West has superior weaponry and technology, so jihan won’t succeed. And unless muslim women are kept locked away from education and society they will recognise the freedoms and equality of women in Europe, demand the same, and the birth rate will dramatically decline. Anyway, I’ll read the book sometime soon.

I read ebooks mostly, so there is no censorship to worry about. I decided to read up on Islam last year, so I read the essential books – the Qu’ran. Hadith and Life of Mohammed; plus plenty of other books on this topic. So I have read also, and heard podcasts of, the predictions of the future of Europe and books similar to what this book perhaps covers. Nevertheless, the few pages I have read so far were interesting, so I’ll continue.

This year I intended to do the same for Christianity, but didn’t make as much progress as I had hoped. Hindusim and Buddhism for the next couple of years, I hope.

You must be a very fast reader to have read it all in one sitting – it took me nine days – aiming to read 10% a day.

I found it an excellent book. It’s easy to read, interesting, and although it mostly covered what I’d read in other books on the subject, heard on podcasts, read in the alternative media or even heard from individuals living in Europe, it was another confirmation. But in addition the book had a couple of chapters that dealt with what is not usually covered – viz. 13. “Tiredness”, on the nihilism in Europe & 16.; giving background reasons for what’s happening and future possibilities.

He didn’t, however, cover the Kalergi Plan, to replace the original Europeans with other races – which goes deeper than this author’s explanation for the migrant influx. Kalergi was the first recipient of the Charlemagne Prize, and Merkel is a more recent recipient, subsequently carrying out what she was expected to do.

I’m going to read some of the books mentioned in the book.

I just finished the oft referred to book, “Submission”, by Michel Houellebecq. I expected a dark, depressing novel, but actually it was an easy read which flowed well, and even gave me a couple of laughs, plus, towards the end, some interesting opinions. I have my hands a couple of the books by the author that the protagonist of “Submission” had based his life’s work on – Huysmans. Now I am curious to read this author – but probably not so soon.

i too read that book submission, just because it was referred to so much. and wondered if it might be tempting to just submit to islam and embrace islam and let it order our lives. until i realise , no it wont do for me.
though i wont be reading huysmans. he sounds like a difficult author to read in that there is too much philosophy in it.

I didn’t expect to enjoy the book, “Submission”, but I did.

But, like it says, Islam means “submission”. But the point of life is to exercise your free will – submitting misses this, and one can’t fulfill one’s purpose.

I plan to flip through Huysmans’ book, and then see if I can read it from the beginning. If it’s not interesting I’ll give up. But I have other books to read first.
