london , the ideal place to live

23 Apr

london 9.07pm 16.6C dry (high 25.7c) sunday 2018

12.12pm 14.4C sunny monday 2018

It’s a nice day, even though nothing like as hot as yesterday. which was not really very hot either. i am glad the so called mini heat wave is over. but i knew that haha. thank goodness these heatwaves dont last long. it makes living in london very ideal. it has nothing extreme in temperature between winter and summer. and have enough rain to keep things flourishing. if that is not a formula for ideal weather, i dont know what is. i have realised now that i dont want to live anywhere else in the world.

i have been trying to keep my spirits up and look on the bright side of life. and indeed there is a lot of nice things and life is indeed lovely. since my bout of health scare recently i have found myself being rather sad , and restless… but i am glad to say i am gradually shrugging off that mood and be able to see that life is really very nice.

i help that feeling along by reading happy books, like the winnie the pooh book, ‘the best bear in all the world’,  i borrowed recently from the library. it is such a happy book. in fact all the stories in winnie the pooh are happy stories as they are just a romp in the woods, being perennially young and carefree… with just a little bit of worry that resolves itself at the end.

it recaptures the idea of carefree childhood, in a world of its own with a bunch of good friends. these are new stories, and done very well indeed. they capture the spirit of the books and i hope they will make some more stories and produce more of these books in future.

Oh come on, you don’t want to live in T dad where it’s about 100 degrees for 4 months straight? 😉

haha, no, and it seems it rains a lot there too. i assume T dad, means trinidad, right? and the humidity must be high there. jan -april are the best months to visit it seems. but i am thinking rain can cool down the temperature, so would it be too hot there in the dry season? the rain can keep the mosquitos down too. and cleans the air.
