jesus h. christ

london 10.45am 18C sunny friday 2019

i read that europe is suffering high temperatures, but here in london it has only got up highest to 24C yesterday , so it is very pleasant. it seems it is caused by a plume of heat from the sahara and will arrive in uk on saturday. but not expected to raise temperatures as high as in europe. and it will last only a day. well thank goodness for that. some people might fume that we never get high temperatures for summer, but i think they are misguided. they have never lived with 40C temperatures and so think that higher the temperature the better. more fools they.

i read this article about how jesus h christ came about. i thought it was used by people who dont want to blaspheme by calling on the name of jesus in vain, and so add a h to indicate that it is not that jesus… at least that is why i use it myself. but it seems it is a mistake by someone of the ihs , the latin version of a greek short form for jesus. we see it on top of a crucifix. i never knew what it meant myself.

I like to add diced carrots too and instead of beef as I do not like beef so much, I cook it with mince pork, alot of diced carrots and a lot of mushrooms LOL! Try shitake mushrooms as I find the woodiness of the fungi tasty in the concoction I make. But I guess it is really up to the palate of the person eating it. Nice share!

have you notice that the dried shitake mushrooms have so much more flavour than the fresh ones? i wonder why is that.
